1.4refurbished computerised head office near Nuneaton is to co-ordinate sales of ex-TIP and CTR rental fleet trailers countrywide. It offers a massive selection of box, tilt, refrigerated and curtainsider trailers.
Last year GE Capital of the US, which already owned TIP Europe, acquired CTR, its major rival. Some 750 trailers are held in stock at Bruntingthorpe in
Leicestershire with another 425 at Carrington in Manchester. Makes represented include Fruehauf and Van Hool.
"In effect we run one-stop trailer shops," says Chris Emm, responsible for UK trailer sales. "If all you want to buy is, say, a couple of curtainsiders, then we've got 40 you can choose from."
The sales head office is close to Junction 3 on the M6.
