Take it to the limit
• TPP has developed a range of load limiters for truck-mounted cranes. An electrical column-mounted strain gauge monitors column deflection and warns of overloads with an alarm or flashing light. A standard kit costs £795 (ex-VAT); TPP offers a fitting service at its Chesterfield site for £180 (ex-VAT).
Wander-lead controls for lorry loaders are also available in kit form.
