excise licence has cost Bridgend-based haulier Edward Moore £2,400 in fines, costs and back duty. Bridgend magistrates heard that Moore had been unable to tax the vehicle because of his financial difficulties.
Forgery charge • Driver Thomas Greenwood has appeared before Rochdale magistrates accused of attempting to pervert the course of justice and forgery after falsifying tachograph charts. The case was adjourned until April when magistrates will decide whether it will go to Crown Court.
