Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Exhibits :—One Carrier Tricycle, Two Vans, One Wagon, One D.D. Electrobus.

By far the most imposing exhibit on this company 's stand is the large double-deck omnibus similar to those now in the service of the London Electrobus Company, Limited, of Whitehall House, Charing Cross. This vehicle has a range of 45 miles on a single charge, and its motors are sufficiently powerful to allow a good 12m.p.h. to be attained. Each of the driving wheels is driven through a roller chain from separate motors ; no differential gearing is, therefore, required.

Amongst the other exhibits of this comp-any is the little carrier tri-car, which is driven by a single, 2h.p. motor, This little machine can deal with light goods weighing up to 3 cwt., and it has a range of about 40 miles. We were much interested in this vehicle when we first saw it, at tlie Berlin Show, and we reproduced a photograph of the tricycle in our issue of the toth of January last. For town use, we believe that such machines might, with advantage, be extensively used, as indeed they are in Berlin. The motor is situated in a mid-position, below the pressed-steel, side members of the frame, and a propeller shaft inclines up to the single, back wheel, which it drives through bevel gearing.

Another vehicle which is exhibited on this stand is a wagon, suitable for the use of fire brigades.
