MULDER, NV — The Dutch company which claims to have pic neared lorry mounted mixers — has appointed the Sandbach, Che shire firm of Walker Barrett Ltd as sole UK concessionnaire.
A new company has been established, Mulder Truck Mixers (UK) Ltd, to handle the import, sales, and service of the full Mulder range of mixers varying from 1.5 cum (2cuyd) "minimixers" to 12cum (15.6cu yd) articulated units currently outside UK regulations.
Mulder UK, based at Millbucle Industrial Estate, Moston Road, Sandbach, will be fitting the smallest mixers to a range of chassis which includes Leyland, Dodge, Bedford, and Ford.
The larger mixers are said to be suitable for 25 different makes of chassis including MAN, DAF, and Leyland.
Although current legislation restricts mixer size to 8cum (10.5cuyd), Mulder UK suggests that the proposed changes to vehicle weights could increas this to 10cum (13.1cuyd).
