What is said to be one of the most successful centrifugal pumps used in North America is now being made under licence by Wade Engineering. This is the Gorman Rupp 02FI pump for road-tanker deliveries, a self-priming design that will deliver over 100gal per minute through 1.5in. diameter hose.

Housing and impeller of tne pump are in aluminium and total weight* is only 441b. The gears are in a separate housing which can be mounted in one of four positions to give the best angle for power take-off. The pump is supplied with flanges to suit 2in. or 2.5in. pipes and elbow flanges and drive flanges can be supplied as extras.
