Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The Lucas Hazard Warning Signal System which enables all four flashers on a vehicle to be operated simultaneously is now available as an accessory. The Sparto Checklite.

The equipment is of value in providing a warning to other road users in the event of a breakdown or accident.

The system is simple in operation. When the switch is operated the normal directionindicator flasher unit is isolated and the four flasher lamps are connected to the "Hazard' flasher unit. Because the feed from the battery is independent of the ignition switch it will operate whether or not the ignition and direction-indicator switches are "on" or "off-; up to six bulbs can be operated. Made by: Joseph Lucas Ltd, Great King Street, Birmingham. Price: £ 2 10s.
