• Samuel Williams Transport Ltd, member of the Williams Hudson Group, has taken over the Andover Haulage Co Ltd, Hants.
The branch office becomes Samuel Williams' sixth in the past 18 months, and in addition to the head office at Dagenham, regional offices have now been established at Erdington, near Birmingham, Felixstowe, Tilbury, Grays Thurrock and Southampton.
The new Andover branch, under the management of Mr W. Michael Griffiths, will cater for general haulage, bulk liquids and bulk grain movements, and act as agent for Samuel Williams Transport's international division.
