• The West Midlands LA, Mr J. Else, granted a new 0 licence for one vehicle to Temmill Haulage Ltd, at a public inquiry in Birmingham last week. The company had applied for a licence to cover the 12 vehicles to be acquired.
In summing up, Mr Else said that it was too early to grant a licence for 12 vehicles, but if the company could show a good standard of maintenance to its first vehicle, then he would be prepared to grant a further licence for six more sometime in the future.
