Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Within a few weeks the Road Transport Industry Training Board will be issuing details of its policy recommendations on road transport staff training for decimalization.

It is expected that the material issued in connection with decimal training will include a coloured slide programme with linked sound track, to provide a simple explanation of' decimal coin values, the calculation of amounts in mixed coinage, and the correct ways of expressing newcoin amounts verbally and in writing. London Transport has co-operated in the production of this slide set, aimed mainly at platform staff.

The RTITB will recommend literature, training aids, programme lengths and actual timing of instruction in relation to D-day. The national D-day is February 15, 1971, but the bus industry has been asked to delay full decimalization until at least February 22 to avoid a serious coin shortage.
