LEE BALLARD has been granted authorisation to base two vehicles at a unit in Woodside Lane, Hatield, subject to the following conditions: • authorised vehicles shall enter and exit the operating centre in forward gear at all times; • no vehicles are to be parked outside the boundaries of the operating centre, and suficient space must be left available to enable vehicles to fully enter the site without having to wait or over hang into Woodside Lane; • the maximum GVW of the authorised vehicles will be 32 tonnes; • the irm will ensure that the shrubbery to the left of the egress is kept trimmed to allow maximum visibility on entering and leaving the site; • there will be no operation, movement, loading or unloading of authorised vehicles at the operating centre before 7am and after 9pm; • vehicle maintenance of authorised vehicles shall only take place in the stated building, and not in the open air.

The irm has also removed its Ridgeway Business Park operating centre at Blunham, Bedford from its licence.

Palletline London

PALLETLINE LONDON is looking to base 20 vehicles and 12 trailers at Perivale Park, Horsenden Lane South, Greenford.

Blue Dragon Transport

BLUE DRAGON Transport has been given the green light for eight vehicles on land next to Drive Assist, Uxbridge Road, Rickmansworth, subject to conditions: • on leaving the operating centre authorised vehicles shall give priority to any oncoming vehicles already on the lane leading from the A412; • there shall be no maintenance of authorised vehicles carried out on site; • there shall be no operation, movement, loading or unloading of authorised vehicles at the operating centre before 7am or after 7pm Monday to Friday or before 7am or after 1pm on Saturdays. Also, there will be no operation, movement, loading or unloading of authorised vehicles at the operating centre on Sundays or Bank Holidays.

Groupe Samat

GROUPE SAMAT has been given the go-ahead for three vehicles and the same number of trailers at the Arenson Centre in Houghton Regis, Dunstable.

Hydro Cleansing

HYDRO CLEANSING hopes to station 20 vehicles and two trailers at a unit in Endeavour Way, Croydon, Surrey.

• A PI on 2 August will look at disciplinary action against Waste Away Solutions, based in Sleaford.

• Disciplinary action against Boston-based David John Allen, trading as Allens Haulage, will be looked at by the TC on 6 August.

Colchester

• On 23 August, a PI will discuss an objection received against a new application from Colchester-based BVW Transport. The TC will also consider disciplinary action against the firm as well as granting it an interim licence.

Eastbourne

• Goodies Foods, based in London, will attend a PI on 26 July, at which disciplinary action will be considered.

• The TC will consider a new application from Canvey Island-based John Hogger trading as JJ Freight, on 26 July.

• Ernest George Webster, based in Sidcup, will attend a PI on 2 August, at which disciplinary action will be debated. The TC will also look at the repute of the transport manager at the company.

• A PI on 2 August will look at disciplinary action against Aylesford-based Hunter Todd trading as Medway Haulage. The transport manager’s repute will also be discussed.
