Milton Keynes-based ikita UK has added two w lower-priced 150mm bital sanders to its cat)gue.
The B06040 random bital sander is quieter d with less vibration in most rivals. There's a oice of operating modes: Tible rotation, which cornins orbital action with a ?.chanical rotary drive for ugh sanding and polishing; d free rotation orbital action A smooth sanding. Its 850 watt motor will make the disc work at up to 11,600 orbits per minute (opm), and weighing just 2.7kg the unit is well suited for bodyshop use.
Makita's B06030 has a 300W motor that will run at up to 20,000 sanding strokes per minute, but its sanding speed can be varied from 4,000 to 10,000 opm, depending on the material and type of finish required.
