• Germany's plans to impose a road tax on foreign hauliers using its roads have been suspended by the German cabinet at least until 31 December. Despite this move, German hauliers will continue to receive a rebate, worth up to £2,450 on a 38-tonne truck. The Road Haulage Association advises all international operators planning to reclaim German Road User Tax to keep all receipts to support a claim.
