Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Cumberland Motor Services has begun an open-top bus service in the Lake District. "Lakeland Experience" uses five specially liveried vehicles, and runs every 20 minutes between Ambleside, Windermere and Bowness.

The route covers tourist attractions and local housing estates and is intensively supervised by inspectors with radios and a patrol car. Each departure is monitored and re

ported to a control point. At potentially busy spots, such as Bowness Pier, there is also a queue conductor on duty.

Four of the buses have been obtained from Southdown Motor Services and carry that company's old apple green and cream colours.

Cumberland's predecessor, Ribble Motor Services, tried a similar service, but abandoned it after using double-deckers and an open-topper.
