• Arthur Pierre, the Belgian removals firm, is expanding its UK network into the North of England.
The company specialises in removals for executives working on multi-nationals, but now it has started a new removals service for people retiring to the South of France or Spain. A new Manchester site has been opened as a springboard for the new operation. The parent company, established 90 years ago, is also opening new branches in Belgium, Spain and the Netherlands.

The company was founded in January 1990 when family removers Bewley and Scheppens of Loughborough sold off its distribution business to finance the acquisition of five small family removers in Manchester, Chester, Leicester, Cirencester and Cheltenham.
