/ The design of the new Bedwas modular police support unit vehicle can be adapted to suit several models of van in the 2.5-4.5-tonne range.
It can be converted to an 11-passenger personnel carrier, a prison van, a dog kennel or a communications unit.
Features include vandal-proof glazing, fittings for petrol-bomb skirts, a washer system which carries a special solution to restore vision quickly, and an anti-riot guard.
