Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

system called the Laser which is designed to give efficient and cost-effective cleaning of the most complex vehicle shape. It is a moving-gantry machine incorporating two carriagemounted spray systems.

The combined movement of the machine and carriages with multiple solenoid-controlled sprays, results in efficient chemical application to all the vehicle surfaces. The system is equipped with two sensors — one of which is a laser to measure the vehicle width and length. A microprocessor control memorises the information for repeat chemical application and rinse cycles.

Operation is activated by a start button. A single traverse is standard for both chemical application and rinse, although for more arduous conditions, a double traverse operation can be selected.

The chemical is applied in the form of a foam which clings to the vehicle surface. This reduces the quantity of chemical required and ensures its maximum effectiveness in the removal of traffic film and dirt. This is followed by a highpressure rinse cycle to remove all traces of chemical and dirt.

The Laser is available in three height options up to 4.5m and it can accommodate vehicles up to 2.54m wide. AVW-Wilcomatic Ltd 10 Dock Place Edinburgh EH6 6LU
