Pressures of up to 1,300kN/sqm (2,0001170g in) can be tolerated by a new thixotropic compound called Oilseal H. This is the claim made by the R.A.S. Division of Rocol Ltd for its sealant which can be brushed out to give a thin coating to a joint or applied thickly to make up deficiencies in threads or flanges.
