A NEW control system has been introduced • for the Dennis Bulkmaster refuse collector, a test of which appeared in the June 14 issue of CM, which enables the vehicle to be used intermittently% or continuously as required.
The facility of continuous loading should be Of interest. to those local authorities who use their vehicles on sack collection where sacks are assembled and gathered at one point for loading.
Intermittent :loading, besides reducing operator fatigue and mechanical wear and tear, provides a fuel saving of up to 40 per cent.
