LONDON TRANSPORT has drawn up a programme that could provide up to 7,000 staff homes plus rent income of up to £10m from commercial development.
The programme sets out the development of 5.25m sqft of space which could provide job relocation opportunities for 40,000 LT workers and their families. The space is to be found at 14 of London's bus garage sites and at developments above several Underground stations.
