Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A SIMPLE method of waxing bodies is provided by Rexin Wax Wash, which has been launched in Britain by Chas. B. Symons, 209 Borough High Street,

London. S.E.1. This product contains carnauba wax blended with a liquid, the whole being lighter than water so that dirt is lifted off the surface of the paintwork and a layer of hard wax deposited as the body is washed.

To use, excess dirt and grit are washed off the body with plain water as usual. One capful of the Rexin Wax Wash is then added to the second bucket of water which would normally be used for rinsing and the body is sponged thoroughly with the mixture. The final operation is to " leather off" to absorb excess moisture. It is unnecessary to finish with a dry leather and the paintwork will be completely dry and smear-free within 10 minutes of leathering.

Rexin Wax Wash is not a shampoo, so if the paintwork is affected by " bloom", or dirt is ingrained, it should first be cleaned. Rexin Autocicaner, which is also available from the concern, is recommended. After Wax Wash is first used, the finish should be treated with it once a week for six weeks and from then on once a month.

The retail price of a tin, which gives up to 16 applications, is 9s. 6d. Supplies of all Rexin products are available to the trade through most wholesalers.
