Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TWO-WHEELED trailers for 2-3I cwt. and 7-8-cwt. loads are being produced by Messrs. Pashley Carrier Cycles, 59, Digbeth, Birmingham, 5, the well-known makers of tradesmen's delivery tricycles, etc. They are available with truck bodies or as closed vans, in the former case the vehicle being offered also in a form specially suitable for the market gardener or farmer.

The two chassis cost 410 10s. and 415 15s. respectively, whilst the price of the truck body is 43 3s., the van body 48 15s. and the farmer's body £6 10s. Sturdily built of angle-section steel, the frames of both chassis are 5 ft. long and 3 ft. wide, and the track is 4 ft. Long semi-elliptic springs attach the frame to the tubular axle.

Fully compensated rod-operated automatic brakes, incorporating 7-in. drums, are provided on the larger model, and both have a quick-coupling sprung drawbar, with spring-loaded catch and universally articulated attachment. On the 3-cwt. and 8-cwt. trailers, respectively, 25-in. by 3-in. tyres and 27-in. by 4-in. tyres are used, whilst detachable wheels are available, as an extra, for the larger machine.

The concern also makes a special model equipped expressly for the quick transport of ice-cream box tricycles to and from selling-round centres remote from headquarters.
