By Chris Tindall DIRECTORS AT Derbyshire haulier TJ Twigg Haulage, which went into liquidation in December, have been granted an O-licence to continue trading from the same premises.
The new irm, T Twigg Haulage, was incorporated at Companies House in September, three months before HM Revenue & Customs presented a petition to wind up predecessor TJ Twigg Haulage in court (CM 5 December 2011).
Last month the North West Trafic Area granted the business a licence to trade out of the same Smith Hall Lane, Ashbourne operating centre, this time with ive vehicles and ive trailers.
However, it has attached a condition to its licence that it proves it has access to the required inancial facilities by July.
A statement of company affairs for TJ Twigg Haulage recently lodged at Companies House shows that trade and expense creditors are estimated to be owed £18,000, but that there is also a total deiciency estimated at around £118,000.
Directors Karen and Tim Twigg are calculated to be owed £53,000.
Tim Twigg, who is also listed as the irm’s transport manager, was unable to comment as CM went to press.
