SAFETY
EUROWHO LISTING • Eurowho is a microcomputer-based listing of over 300 individuals in Europe working in the field of road safety research.
The program has been developed for the European Commission by MVA Systematica, and it is designed to promote the transfer of information to road safety research.
Complex searches in particular specialist areas can be undertaken using Eurowho.
The European Commission plans to update the system annually and 200 Eurowho systems are already being used throughout Europe. The program will run on any IBM PC compatible computer and fits onto a single 5.25 inch lowdensity computer disk.

TRAINING
HAZPAK ADDITIONS • Two more training centres have been recognised as official centres for national (dangerous substances) driver training.
Grampian Motor Training of Aberdeen will now offer Hazpak and Hazfreight courses. Northants Road Transport Training has been given approval to run Hazpak courses.

KEEP ON ROLLING • National Tyres and Autocare have introduced a new service for fleet customers enabling them to obtain priority service from the company.
The priority service card contains a vehicle registration number, driver's name, telephone number and customer account number. Any one of the company's branches can use the account number to locate details on the customer's tyre and servicing policy.
For customers with 2,000 or more vehicles, National will personalise a card with their company's logo.

KEEPING AHEAD • A two-day conference on logistics in manufacturing is planned for 13/14 March in London, and 15/16 March in Sheffield.
