• Fleets using either Scotseal of Scotseal Plus oil bath hub seals to protect truck wheel bearings from dust, dirt, water and other contaminants can now complete their sealing requirements by using new Scotseal Plus hubcaps from CR Industries.
They are made of aluminium and feature windows made from transparent nylon. Calibrations make it easy for the oil level to each axle to be checked.
The hubcaps, says CRI, have been laboratory tested to withstand synthetic lubricants at temperatures up to 230°F.
The range is available in three designs: the standard fiat face with centrefill check vent, The new CR range of hubcaps, available in three styles complete with transparent nylon faceplates, allow oil levels to be checked visually.
