• Although West Midlands Travel operates 24 sets of four Somers Hywema RG5 mobile vehicle lifts, because of the design and service requirements of its eight Metroliner coaches, needing all three axles to be supported, Somers Handling has installed a set of six Hywema RG5 lifts especially for this fleet.
Somers claims that mobility is the greatest asset provided by its Hywema system: vehicles can be raised to a comfortable servicing height, anywhere at any time. This gives the service engineer better access to all the parts beneath the vehicle floor level and provides better light availability.
