BASED on the principle used for a hundred years in the design of construction-site light-railway tipping wagons, a new bulk carrier introduced by a Swedish body and trailer builder is particularly suitable for the transport of low-density loads.
The "Maxitipp" now being produced by Pabyggarn—AB Zetterlings, of Ostervala, consists of a high-sided open-top container body hung on horizontal privoting points fore and aft carried on substantial A-frames above the vehicle chassis.
A power-driven inverter gear turns over the body through the 140'D to tip out the payload quickly and cleanly.
