Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE CLOSURE of Oxford Motorchef to heavy goods vehicles is an isolated incident, according to Trust House Forte.

Oxford Motorchef, on the city's northern outskirts, introduced its ban on lorries in November. A spokesman said this was because a small car park with a weak sub-structure is unsuitable for manoeuvring goods vehicles.

Also, the Motorchef exit is close to a roundabout and the company felt that slow commercial vehicles could create a hazard. Despite these reasons, coaches are still permitted.

The THF spokesman confirmed that it was not the intention of the company to discriminate against hgv drivers and that the ban would not be repeated elsewhere in the chain.
