A NORTH-WESTERN road haulage operator has donated £300 to the Chartered Institute of Transport for the best paper on road freight transport.

Gilbraith of Accrington has specified that its award should go to the best paper written by a north west area CIT member.

The company, which is a commercial vehicle dealer as well as an operator, hopes the award will give a boost to the road freight transport industry.
