For heavy lorry applications, the six-cylinder versions are available in KT-450 and KTA-600 ratings with the type number indicating the gross horsepower output. The basic design is an in-line, turbocharged six-cylinder unit with a capacity if 18.9 litres (1,150cuin). In the KT-450 rating, the maximum gross power of 336kW (465bhp) is produced at 2,100rpm with a peak torque of 1,830Nm (1,3501bft) at 1,50Orpm.
