A NEW RANGE of additional fuel tanks for lorries has been introduced by Thermo Welded Fabrications of Loughton, Essex.
The diesel tanks, which come in 227 litres (50 gallons) and 250 litre (55 gallon) sizes, feed into the existing tanks and are situated across the chassis forward of the fifth wheel coupling.
They are constructed of steel with a non-slip surface and most types can be supplied with steps on either side, depending on the vehicle.
Thermo Weld reports that it has sold over 500 tanks for a variety of vehicles including Daf, Volvo, Mercedes, Scania, and Leyland.
