VOLKSWAGEN and MAN will have one of the most comprehensive commercial vehicle ranges available in Britain in three years' time, according to MAN-VW Truck and Bus managing director Leslie Jones.
Speaking in London last week, he said: "We in Great Britain are the first wholly commercial vehicle company to be appointed to handle the range of VW and MAN commercial vehicles, and are therefore the front runner in a European concept." He said that a range of commercials from 2.8 to 150 tons will be available by 1982, and added that few manufacturers are able to match MANNW's forthcoming model spread.
