Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

the first Metro-Scania to reach a private rator's hands is now being resold — er only three months. The vehicle — ich was exhibited at the 1969 Earls Court 3w — was bought last autumn by Castleys (Wincheombe) Ltd. The nine-vehicle Ducestershire operator hoped to use it on al stage services.

Mr T. Fogarty, the company's general inager, told CM this week that it was the :k of seats in the bus which killed it. The ft Metro-Scania had only 34 seats fitted t space for 45 standees. Mr Fogarty hoped

to be able to fit more seats. He discovered, however, that only six more could be accommodated. Mr Fogarty ran the vehicle for a while alongside his Leyland Leopard and Bedford YRQ buses.

The bus was advertised earlier this month, priced at £5,750, by the Barnsley-based Paul Sykes organization, and Mr Fogarty says he lost money on it. It is understood that the bus has now been sold to a buyer in the United Kingdom but final confirmation has not yet been made.
