• Mr Peter Daykin, the traffic manager West Yorkshire Road Car Co, which h been running the experimental door-to-do bus service in Harrogate, said last week th application is being made to the Trail Commissioners for a three-month eXtensic of the operation. This would provide tl company with more time to assess the servi, and a final decision on whether to put ti vehicles on a permanent basis wou then be made before the end of June.
The scheme was started in October 19' for a six-month trial period and the buse which are at present carrying some 6( people a week, travel twice a day ov selected routes and pick up and set dom at passengers' requests.
