The Greater London Council has not ised its proposals for Ringway 1 and the extension. Mr Richard M. Brew, chairin of the GLC environmental committee, d the council last week. He said the M1 .ension and Ringway 2 would be joined thin the next 15 years, and denied that the recent publicity about the council's motorway and ringway proposals was merely an "election exercise". The council, he added, had already made its priorities known and believed that this was the best way for the Greater London development plan to be carried out.
