THE Department of the Environment has reminded hauliers that visas for entry into Czechoslovakia cannot in any circumstances be obtained at the Czechoslovakian border. Visas must always be obtained before leaving the UK.
British consuls in or near Czechoslovakia are not allowed to obtain visas for drivers, who will be unable to proceed through Czechoslovakia if they do not have the necessary documents.
