• Bristol Omnibus Company has introduced a fare card for passengers paying an adult single fare of 1s 2d and above which is claimed to represent a considerable saving for people travelling to and from work each day.
In addition, country service season tickets can now be bought where the minimum single fare is 1s 2d compared with 1s 9d under the old system. A passenger paying a 1s 2d fare can buy a monthly fare card for £2 4s.
