THE roll-on/roll-off tractor-trailer system patented by MAFI is now in production at the company's Mansfield factory.
The equipment consists of low-loader trailers with 20in. deck height, detachable fifth-wheel goosenecks and towing tractors fitted with coupling lifting devices. A range of trailers • is available including ,models fitted with double end coupling for two-way roll-on/roll-off, twin-axle types for heavy traffic and special container carrying models. In addition a variety of optional equipment can be fitted.
The equipment can be operated by one man who controls coupling and uncoupling from the driver's seat.
