systems is entitled Industrial Logistics, by J. E. Sussams. The reader who is not deterred by simple statistics and mathematical equations will find it extremely useful in planning depot systems and transport operations.

The book is presented with five main sections, each one dealing in detail with a specific aspect of depot siting or vehicle routeing and control. Although much of the book is devoted to the theoretical approach to these problems, most sections include practical examples of implementation and use of the methods described.
