Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

NAOUNTED on a Guy Otter chassis of 14-ft. 9-in. tY1 wheelbase, powered by a Gardner 4LK oil engine, a special Jennings body of the Luton type will provide the West Midlands Gas Board with Facilities for training apprentices, and other personnel throughout the area, in the latest methods of servicing appliances and affecting installation repairs. The van was supplied by Ryland Garage, 112, Ryland Street, Birmingham.

A large range of domestic appliances installed in the vehicle includes five water heaters, two meters, a cooker and the parts of a gas refrigerator. Two work benches run the full length of the interior, and these are fitted with vices, pipe-bending equipment and a gas furnace. A variety of sectioned valves and tool sets is arranged on the walls, and exterior display panels show installation details.

Flexible hoses arc connected to the local mains for gas and water supplies, the pipe connections being located at the back of the panels. All the heating appliances are vented into a duct from which the air is extracted by an electric fan. • Full-width lights in the roof provide good day light illumination, and transverse fluorescent lighting units are switched on for night work. The current for the latter is supplied by a separate battery, which is charged by a dynamo driven off the gearbox. A vibrator is used for transforming the current.

Other equipment details include a water tank slung below the roof over the cab and a comprehensive selection of typical fittings, housed in cupboards under the benches. A cinematograph projector is carried for showing instructional films.

The interior is panelled in plywood, and the exterior panels are of aluminium alloy. The roof is panelled with tonged-and-grooved hardwood and is canvas covered.
