Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

WHILST exports for the first 10 months of the year showed a drop af 1,289 units, their total value, states the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, was greater by /10.4m. The average weekly output during October was 5,273 units, the comparable figure for October last year being 5,480.

The total for the month was 21,093, of which 8,998 were for export and 12,095 for the home market. Goods vehicles, road haulage tractors and special types totalled 20,427. Of these, 8,859 were under 15 cwt. carrying capacity, 10,554 were from 15 cwt. to 6 tons and 1,014 over 6 tons.

Passenger vehicles produced numbered 581, of which 461 were single-deck and 118 double-deck motorbuses. Only two trolleyb uses were made. In the same period, 7,532 passenger vehicles were produced (5,838 singledeck and 1,618 double-deck motorbuses, and 76 trolleybuses). Battery-electrics totalled 7,532 and pedestrian-controlled types 757. Works-trucks output from January to September was 5,357.

Excluding dumpers and industrial trucks, 9,575 commercial vehicles were exported during October, the value of exports, including dumpers and industrial trucks, being £6,660,456.

Exports for the first 10 months of the year, other than those given in the accompanying table, included 3,030 used commercial vehicles •(£1,478,733), 94,293 tractors (£39,092,660) and parts and accessories valued at the sum of /68,901,088.
