Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Known as the Nubian, the new range 11 be built at the Scammell plant at atford with production models being ailable from mid-1978.

The range consists of both two-axle d three-axle machines, with all-wheel lye and driven by a choice of Cummins gines with outputs ranging from 225 to 5kW (300 to 500bhp).

The two-axle models are design plated up to 18.3 tonnes (18 tons) gvw and the ree-axle models at up to 28.5 tonnes (28 ns) gvw.

Alternative lower ratings are available enable operation on highway with C d U regulations.

Various Allison torque converter and arbox options are available while the o can be engaged at any time regardless of vehicle and engine speed.

A typical performance characteristic with the highest capacity 6x6 model is to accelerate from rest to 80km/h (50mph) within 38 seconds and to discharge foam at a rate of 86,000 litres (19,000 gal) per minute.

The new model features two major differences from the current Nubian model: the engine is mounted at the rear of the chassis and Scammell offer a proprietary cab — the Motor Panels Mk IV — as a factory fitted option.

Moving the engine to the rear has provided two design bonuses according to Scammell. Absence of engine noise makes for a quiet cab, and the relocated engine has allowed greater freedom in cab design.
