Most of your report on the contrasting merits of the main breakdown and recovery systems on offer was factual and fair.

However, I do think that your article gave a misleading impression of the relative costs of a breakdown within the two main schemes.

The experience within the BRS Group, over a large sample of incidents, has been that the average time and mileage per breakdown are 31/2 hours and 32 miles round trip respectively.

Applying these statistics to the charging rates for the two schemes as shown in your article would produce charges as follows:
