HE DAF double-reduction ,ar axle, currently offered on te 2200 Series model, is to be lased out in favour of a hub !duction design.
According to DAF Trucks 313) Ltd, the change in )ecification will result in a eight saving of 40kg (881b) ,r the 2200.
The type 2699 hub reduction de, which will be available ith a 6.09-to-1 ratio, as andard, and 6.65 as an )tion, is already standard luipment on the heavier 2800 AF models.
