A GRANT of £63,000 has been made by the Government, under Section 8 of the Railways Act 1974, towards the cost of a £126,000 container storage depot proposed by Railhead Services Ltd, in Birmingham. The new depot will be built next to Landor Street Freightliner depot. Freightliners Ltd expects a substantial increase in business from this development.
