Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ADEVICE designed to ease the fitting and removal of engines and the like is being manufactured under licence, and marketed by Gray Campling Ltd. Originating from the USA, the device, which is called the TILT R, comprises two flat plates between which, carried on spindles, is a handle-powered reduction gear set and a chain sprocket. Over the sprocket is passed a length of roller chain to the ends of which are fastened two shackles.

In use the TILT R is suspended from any form of lifting gear, and the unit to be manoeuvred is shackled to the ends of the roller chain. When the weight is taken, the engine or gearbox can be tilted to any angle up to almost 900 from the horizontal, making it feasible for one man to do such an operation completely on his own. Two models of 1500 and 3,000 lb. capacity are available.

Made by: Gray Campling Ltd., Bo urnemouth Hants. Price: M1500 (1500 lb.) £24,M3000(30001b.)£37.
