Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

AN inter-depot rates schedule for the private use of members of Associated Road Transport Contractors, Ltd., has been suggested. When adopted the schedule will provide members with a quick and ready method of ascertaining the cost of using each others services. A schedule will be considered by the next meeting of directors.

Mr. Ralph Cropper, the well-known transport consultant, has been appointed as secretary of Artco; The directors expressed the view that considerable advantage would accrue from having an independent secretary, rather than one associated with a member concern. EATON DRIVING HEAD FOR SHOW

A22,500 two-speed driving head will be introduced by Eaton Axles, Ltd., Warrington, Lanes, at the Commercial Motor Show on Stand 308. This unit, which has a greater capacity than any offered previously in this country, is already in use in America and in Europe.

Three other new two-speed driving heads will be on show. These are the 13,802, 16,802 and 18,802, all of which have greater capacities than the comparable units in the existing range.

BATTERY VEHICLES AT BELLE VUE

FOUR electric battery-driven vehicles will be exhibited at the . Factory Equipment . Exhibition, at Belle Vue, Manchester, from September 21-October 1, by British Electrical Engineering Co., Ltd. Two tractors, the three-wheeled S.D. model of 3-ton capacity; and the R.D.-1, which will haul up to 10 tons, and two "elevating trucks of high-loader and low-loader types will be shoWn.

AUSTIN MULTI-FLOOR STORE

AMULTI-STOREY car park, the largest of its kind in the world, is to be built at the Long bridge works of the Austin Motor Co., Ltd., to overcome the difficulty of storing new vehicles.

The building, which will be in full operation by September, 1961, will have nine storeys to house 3,300 vehicles.
