Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

LANCASTER HAULIER and Scania service and parts dealer SJ Bargh has opened a new authorised testing facility (ATF).

Steve Thompson, fleet, service and parts general manager, says the site, which is just off J34 of the M6, has a huge catchment area from Kirkham (near Preston) to Carlisle, as well as east towards Settle, North Yorkshire.

Another key area closer to Lancaster is the port at Heysham where business and traffic from Ireland is increasing.

This is all additional work to the 200-plus trucks and trailers from SJ Bargh’s fleet that will be put through the new ATF lane. Thompson adds that the company is already saving £100 per truck by not trekking the 17 miles to the Vosa-operated test lane at Milnthorpe.

“The new lane adds to the services we can provide, taking us closer to our goal of becoming a onestop-shop for all LGV vehicle maintenance,” he says.

The lane is open two days a week and Thompson plans to increase opening times half a day at a time as business increases.
