• MB Products highlighted a neat remote warning system to tip off the driver if anyone enters his vehicle, whether as a stowaway or a thief. Trailer Alert uses sensors inside the body and at the rear door to detect entry; it alerts the driver via a pocket-sized pager unit. The standard range is 50m but a more powerful 500m range version is available at extra cost.
The detector costs £275 and can be fitted in a couple of hours.
