Now that situation is being reversed, thanks to the stilling efforts of an enterprising haulier from the East Riding of Yorkshire.

As any schoolboy knows the Yorkiehog is spikier than other varieties and is more squashresistant too. Entire colonies of them are being transported into the Home Counties where the local herds have become depleted, and are threatened with extinction. I like hedgehogs as much as the next Hawk, acept when the prickles get stuck in my beak.
